Sweetie Pie Alert! Look at this precious face!
Introducing Boston Terrier gal, Ana Mae. Precious, 5 Year Old Ana Mae came into rescue with no records, so her Foster Mama and Dogter have some sleuthing to do. She is a tiny thing at 17 lbs but super spunky – she runs fast when she is outside and will point when she hears something. She has already been chasing her foster fur siblings around she is content to do whatever they’re doing from frolicking outside to sitting quietly.
Ana Mae has briefly met the resident cats and wanted to chase them, so it would be recommended she live in a cat-free zone.
She was very interested in her foster feathered friends once she discovered them in their cage. Quite the curious little cutie!
Ana Mae got an A+ from the Vet on her health check. She is getting spayed next week and has some bad teeth that will have to be removed once she is healed from the spay. Ana Mae is currently being treated for Lyme disease. She will be treated once her family figures out the proper course of action for her.
Ana has some dry, flaky skin but the vet said adding fish oil to her food should help along with a good, natural dog food.
Ana Mae doesn’t know what to do with toys but we are all sure that will come in time. She rides well in the car and didn’t seem to mind the other dogs she saw when at the vet.
