More About Me

She may not have qualified for the Winter Olympics, but Jordan the red Boston Terrier is ready to run circles around your heart! This athletic 5-year-old was surrendered to SNORT because the larger canines in her home were not fans of her busybody ways.

Jordan is looking for an active human companion. She would make an excellent running partner and will love you forever if you play a game of fetch with her! She is equally keen on snuggling on the couch with her people once she has had a good run to get all of that Boston Terrier energy out! Jordan loves the kids in her foster home – ages 10, 11 and 13 – and is said to have played puppy boxing with the cat in her former home. She currently resides with two French Bulldogs and while she is inquisitive about what they have in their bowls, she will back down if they let her know that they are not into sharing with her.

Jordan is a healthy gal, but due to a history of allergies she should only be fed a grain-free diet with Omega-3 supplements. Cleaning her ears regularly, oatmeal baths as needed will also help to keep her allergies at bay. She's housebroken but hates the cold. She'll happily use a puppy pad instead.

This busybee is definitely active and needs a household that can give her opportunities to get out and play hard. She's got a full tank of gas and doesn't like to slow down until she's the last one standing. A benebone, rawhide stick or other stimulating toy is a perfect time killer until she's given a chance to run about. Jordan would do well with a Boston Terrier-experienced owner who could also work with her on training. She is food motivated and the training will help her get out some of that energy.

Jordan actively seeks companions. Her ideal home has a dog to hang out with and a human fluent in Boston Terrier with her at all times. Her heart breaks when she's left by herself and she will cry loudly, so she would probably not do well in an apartment or condominium community where the neighbors could be disturbed by her crying.

Jordan’s foster Mom describes her as “an uncut diamond.” Once given the training and attention that she lacked in her first home, Jordan will thrive and can adapt to just about any living environment, as long as she can chase a ball and get a good run in every day. She is an active gal, but is docile with other animals and people and can get along great with anyone. This little beauty just needs a patient person to commit to teaching her some manners and making sure she has enough exercise.
