More About Me

Cuteness alert! Lettie the pug is making her grand entrance onto the "available for adoption" stage. Lettie currently resides in Fairport, N.Y. but she is eager to settle into a permanent residence. This pretty lass found herself at a local shelter, then at S.N.O.R.T. rescue due to a relationship break up. Through it all, she has kept her winning smile and is looking forward to the next chapter in her life.
This little miss has looks AND personality. She is described as a true gem...playful, yet submissive and happy all the time. As an optimist, Lettie even enjoys going to the Vet, wagging the whole way. It's tough to avoid smiling when you're around Lettie.

This charmer loves to snuggle with the other dog in her foster home or better yet, on a person's lap. She also tolerates cats. Lettie has been exposed to teenagers and pretty much enjoys everyone she meets, so we feel she would also do fine with younger kids, although she has not previously lived with children.

Lettie is 8 years old, in the prime of her life. She has excellent manners and sleeps in her crate with the door open. Her likes include: playing with soft toys, naps, car rides, short walks, snuggling (especially on the furniture), treats, other dogs, and hanging close to her favorite person's feet. Since she is so well behaved and enjoys car rides, Lettie would make the perfect companion to take along to work if you are able. She is overall quiet, but will occasionally bark. She is a great companion dog and thoroughly enjoys being around people and other dogs. Since she is so laid back, Miss manners would do well in almost any environment, city or rural. She does not require a fenced yard.

Lettie recently had a hernia repair and some teeth removed. She is diagnosed with moderate arthritis in her legs and hips, so short walks instead of training for a marathon would be ideal for her exercise needs. She has a zest for life of a younger dog, but the manners of an 8 year old. This 22 pounder does not require any medication and is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
