Lady Ireland is a beautiful Boston Terrier lass of approximately 6-7 years who came to SNORT after retiring as a breeder. This little 16 lbs lady is ready to learn what being a pet is all about and has lots of love to share with her new family!
Ireland is a cuddle bug who loves nothing more than the company of people – kids are her favorite! She is not a fan of felines and requires slow introductions to other dogs. She can be protective of her things when other dogs are around. Ireland will growl or bark at other dogs if she feels they are intruding on her space. She is very gentle with kids and loves to snuggle on the couch with her people.
Ireland’s favorite things are sleeping, eating and chewing on her chewy treats. She also enjoys car rides. Ireland is not a fan of the crate and will bark when placed in it, but she does sleep in her crate at night.
Since arriving in SNORT’s care, Ireland has been spayed and checked out medically. She is a healthy gal who does not take any daily medications except for flea/tick preventative.
A perfect home for Lady Ireland would be one where her people are home most of the day. She would really love a home with kids who she can snuggle with! If her new home has another dog, she should be introduced slowly to that dog.
While a fenced-in yard is not necessary, Ireland would have to be walked on a leash if her new home did not have a fenced-in yard. She does not know any obedience cues and could not be let outside off-leash. Ireland also requires frequent potty breaks, so her new family should be able to take her outside often.
