Chyna

My name is Chyna and I’m 8 years old. I’m currently living with my foster mama and her 4 other dogs in Warwick, Rhode Island. I’d very much like to find a person or family of my very own. I dream about being adopted and showered with attention from someone who just wants a little pug to love. You’ll notice my biggest attribute is my tongue which sets me apart from the other pugs!

 My favorite things to do include hanging out with my person, even following my person around the house, giving kisses, snuggling and getting treats. After all, I’m a PUG, and snuggling and eating are essential parts of Pugness.  I was surrendered to S.N.O.R.T. because my previous loving owner was no longer able to care for me. Anyone who meets me will tell you that I’m as sweet as honey, and very submissive. I just want to love and be loved in return.  

You would think someone like me would be perfect and, although I’m pretty close, there are a few things I fret over, and need an experienced pet parent to guide me with. I’m nervous over being outside to go potty and I like my person with me at all times. I’m still learning this outside potty thing because it was never explained to me before coming to foster care. Cars and stairs, well…they’re a bit intimidating for sure. So, if you could help me with the potty thing, be patient when we take road trips and help me conquer stairs I know I really will be perfect. I realize I have work to do and lessons to learn but I’m a smart girl and I’m eager to reach my full potential. Could you be my forever teacher? Maybe we could make it fun with special treats, lots of praise and even belly rubs. 

I’m in the prime of my life, I’m up to date on shots, spayed and micro-chipped and do not require any medication. I just had a full dental and I only have two teeth left but I get along just fine without them. I don’t bark or growl and I’m just 21.8 pounds, light enough to carry up and down stairs if you want, until I learn to not fear them. 

By the way, I LOVE to give kisses to my favorite people!
