They say there’s no such thing as the perfect puppy, but Magic is the closest thing to it!
This 8 month old Boston Terrier is:
House trained
Crate trained
Full of personality
Cuddly
Does not bark
Does well on a leash
Smart and quick to learn
All of this is amazing because little Magic has been through a lot in his young life. Magic was diagnosed with a pyothorax (pus in his chest) which has meant surgery to put a tube in his chest and ongoing testing and care. He is on antibiotics and will need 2 repeat sets of radiographs to ensure the issue is resolved. No one knows what caused this initially, and there’s no reason to think it will reoccur. Still, he will need to be monitored.
At his foster home, his favorite thing to do is play with the 2 resident English Bulldogs. So far, he’s had no experience around kids of the human variety or cats. He loves his walks and does great on the leash. Don’t waste money on easily destructible toys because he will do just that. It’s important to know that he is a puppy, an amazing one, and that he is high energy but does calm down eventually when he heads for the nearest human on which to park himself.
Magic does have a timid side, and for that reason, a city home wouldn’t be the best choice. A home where he’ll be along for no more than 6 hours would be terrific. Better yet, his foster Mom takes him to work with her and he is a well-mannered, much-loved addition to the staff.
