Meet Goose! At just 7 months old, this happy, sweet and cuddly Frenchie pup found himself in SNORT’s care after already passing through 4 different homes. Goose really can’t see why no one wanted him – he loves kids, gets along well with other dogs, and can even live with cats!
Goose is a lazy puppy that is happy to snooze on the couch snuggled up with a human or dog, but like a typical puppy, he can’t resist investigating when something interesting catches his attention!
After so much uncertainty and upheaval in his short life, it’s understandable that Goose has issues with some separation anxiety. He does not like to be left alone for long periods of time and is very vocal when he is stressed. He has learned to be comfortable in his crate for short periods of time, but definitely prefers to be in the company of his people or out and about with other dogs. Goose currently goes to work with his foster mom every day and loves being the office mascot!
Goose is eager to learn and offers plenty of head tilts to let you know he’s trying to understand what you’re asking, but he catches on slowly and tends to get distracted easily. He has learned "sit", "down" and "paw" though!
Goose has no health issues, aside from some minor skin itchies, which his foster home is addressing through diet. He does tend to urine mark in the house, so he’s been wearing a belly band when indoors. It’s likely that his recent neuter will help curb this behavior, but consistent potty training efforts will be a must.
