Ally is a sweet-as-pie senior pug mix who was surrendered to her veterinarian by her family who could not care for her skin, joints and dental disease. After just a week in her doctor’s care, she’s had a full makeover – a dental cleaning with extractions, cancerous growths removed, and her itchy skin has been addressed. Ally will need to be on pain medication, as well as a prescription diet and a nutritional supplement for her osteoarthritis, but can otherwise lead a very happy, healthy senior life. She gets along well with other dogs and has taken to the three kitties in her foster home quite nicely. Ally loves to nap the day away (caution – she’s a snorer!) and enjoys going for short walks around the yard or on leash. Ally would do best in a single-story home as stairs aren’t ideal for this old gal, but her compact size makes it easy to carry her when needed.
If you’re interested in adopting Ally, please call Shiloh veterinary Hospital 717-767-0180 and ask for Kimberley or Dena Owings. They are located in York Pa.
