It didn't take Sammy the Boston Terrier long to get comfortable in his foster home. Lounging on the sofa and getting belly rubs are two of Sammy's favorite things to do. But this 10 year old isn't all couch potato. He also thoroughly enjoys playing with his stuffies and taking walks.
From his behavior, it's hard to tell that Sammy is a special needs dog. He is mostly deaf and blind and will rely on his human's eyes when on a walk, especially at the curb areas. As an expert communicator, Sammy will also signal his foster dad that he wants to take a walk by hopping around if he thinks pops is ready and willing. Described as a great companion, sweet and friendly, Sammy is a great 'work from home' dog and will patiently rest at your feet while you do important non-dog stuff. He is fully housetrained.
Sammy is scheduled for his neuter later this month. He will also be screened for testicular cancer at that time and will remain in foster care until medically cleared. He can use some extra well wishes and a sponsor or two. If you would like to donate to Sammy's medical care, click on the donation or sponsor tab above. Thanks for checking out this friendly cuddle bug.
