More About Me

This dreamboat is Gisele, yes like the model. Can’t you see the resemblance? She’s a two year old spayed female who weighs about 24 pounds and she’s looking for her forever home! The most interesting part about Gisele? She’s from China! Yes, that’s right. Her and a few of her Frenchie buddies were rescued from a terrible situation and made the flight from China to start a new life here in America! Her current foster parents describe her as gentle, calm and sweet. Although she’s a little shy at first, she gets along great with other dogs and people. Because it’s unknown how Gisele is with young children, we are recommending a home without kids under 5.

As most Frenchies are, Gisele can be found most of the time lounging but has great energy when she feels like it. She’s friendly, smart, easy to train and would be perfectly happy with a daily walk as her exercise routine. She is almost housebroken and her foster parents are working hard on this with her. She is also crate trained for when her humans leave for a short period of time. Her only special needs are extra understanding and patience as she settles into her new life with loving humans. Her favorite toys consist of bully bones, fluffy toys and TREATS, duh.

Her foster parents want people to know that she is a survivor and she deserves a home with a kind and loving family that will treat her like a queen. Gisele would thrive in the city, suburbs, apartment or single family home with a single person, couple, or family with kids (over 5). They feel her MOST ideal home would be located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood and with someone who is home at least some of the day, so she doesn’t have to spend all day alone. She shouldn’t be left in a crate all day, as that was her previous reality and we don’t want her to go back to that. She would also be a great fit for someone who can take her to work! She would be glad to sleep at your feet during the day. Gisele is a true survivor. A sweet, gentle, healthy girl, who has been through a very rough start to life and deserves only the best!
