A wrinkle in time. Well, this girl is tons of wrinkles in time. Meet Miss Yvonne. To some, she was Peewee Herman’s side kick. To her foster family, she is a silly girl who loves her people and food (“remember that” - she says – and Timbits are at the top of that list).
Miss Yvonne arrived from China a few weeks ago and has been adjusting to life here quite well. She plays with toys but is still learning all the things you can do with toys and chews. She also really loves her nap time. Professional cuddler would go on a resume. Typical stubborn bully at times, Miss Yvonne just wants to be loved by her people. Her size, a very well rounded 64 LBS, and her breed, make her a bowling ball in a china shop at times. She is unaware of her heft.
This sweet girl would do great with a single or multiple person family, older kids or no kids, dogs or no dogs. Her only requirement - she would need a family that has experience with the breed. She can be stubborn at times, typical of her breed, but does listen and respond to correction.
In her short time in her foster home, she has become a master stair climber and she knows how to give paw and high five.
Miss Yvonne does get fed separately from the other dogs in the household. She loves food with the voracity of a high-powered vacuum cleaner and clearly does not suffer from being skinny. Her foster home has helped her lose two pounds! She is ok with other dogs, in regard to treats and waits her turn – but if you want to give her more treats, she wouldn’t say no. She is healthy and will just need someone to clean her excessive folds regularly (who knows what she could be carrying in them – she could make the perfect thief) and because she does have dry eye, she gets drops daily.
She wouldn't mind going to work with you. She loves to go with her foster family and is good employee, though she is known to sleep on the job. She loves car rides and would be a good co-pilot especially if you want to take her to get Timbits.
Miss Yvonne is very trustworthy of her people and very laid back. A huge cuddle bug that just wants attention (and treats) from her fans.
