Kaplan is a brave young pup who has endured the worst imaginable situation and come through it all stoically. He was the victim of a horrible mishap and was severely burned with boiling hot water. Since his owners could not afford proper medical care, he was surrendered to SNORT. Since that time, he has been healing well and now just needs daily moisturizing of his skin.
This perfect pup is sweet, smart and polite, and he loves everyone! However, a home without young children is preferred because he is a bit sensitive about the burned areas. He loves other dogs, and currently lives with three. One of these dogs is a 1-year-old pup and he loves playing with him. But when playtime is over, he heads for the couch and snuggles with his humans.
Bring on the tennis balls! Kaplan LOVES his tennis balls as well as running in the yard. Give him a stuffy and he takes great pleasure in ripping it to shreds. If you’re working, he is perfectly content to lie down next to you all day.
Kaplan would do well in most any home, with any circumstance, as long as it’s with people who will give him heaps of time, love and care. He is easy about everything: A ride in the car? Great, he’s up for it. Lounge on the couch? Perfect, he’s there. Go for a hike? He’s in. He just adores his humans and wherever they go, he wants to go too.
