Mighty Max is about the most perfect puppy you could possibly find. Tiny for a Frenchie at just 15 pounds, this sweet boy is full of fun, love, energy and a modicum of mischief.
Max came into rescue because he was suffering from pneumonia and some gastrointestinal ailments that his owners could not deal with but with time and patience and slow meals and supplements, he is now doing well. To be sure he stays that way, his foster Mom gives him a dose of probiotics every day to keep his tummy feeling good and feeds him slowly.
All good things have been bestowed on Max including an outgoing and friendly personality, superior smarts, exceptional trainability and a highly active approach to life. His needs are simple – toys, snuggles and someone he can give lots of kisses to. In fact, his lucky human will be the best-kissed person in town! His favorite toys? Bones, balls and the occasional stuffed toy, too. But for Max true heaven is being with his humans.
Other dogs? Bring them on. Max is in a foster home with lots of “siblings” with whom he loves to romp and play. He’s had no exposure to cats, but with his delightful and fun personality, we suspect he would be just fine with them.
Because he is such a flexible boy, Max can live just about anywhere with anyone, as long as they are warm, loving, and dog-savvy humans. Since he is so small, we want to avoid homes with children under 8. He would love to have his human around most of the time, so someone who works from home would be ideal!
