More About Me

Looking for company to take with you when traveling? Or maybe a companion to come to work with you
each day? The perfect choice for these, and bunches of other things, is Faithy.
This precious little girl was a mess when she came to SNORT. She had horrendous ear infections, an
elongated palate and was not yet spayed, the reasons she was surrendered as her owners did not have
the resources to care for her physical needs. Shortly after coming into rescue, she had Total Ear Canal
Ablation (TECA) surgery, palate surgery and spaying.
As testimony to how special Faithy is, when she arrived at her foster home, despite what must have
been horrible ear pain, she was friendly, loving, and playful. Unfortunately, she is now deaf, a
complication of the TECA surgery. However, it has not stopped her, and she has learned hand signals for
sit, down, and come. She is quick to learn, so there is a wonderful opportunity for her new humans to
teach her more hand signals.
Besides some of these other issues, she also has allergies that have been successfully managed with a
novel protein diet and Zyrtec as necessary.
Faithy has a lot of energy and likes to play with great gusto. However, she needs her time outs, which
means she needs to be watched closely. She can be a little mischievous and has a habit of scrounging
around and picking up small things on the floor, which, if ingested, could be problematic. Another
reason to keep a close eye on this girl.
Love bug? She loves everyone and everything she meets. She adores her foster canine brother and
would love to have a friend in her new home, as long as he/she isn’t too high energy. She loves to be
with her humans and can be a major couch potato.
Faithy would do well in any environment, including city, suburb, rural, apartment, townhouse, or single-
family house. Likewise, she would easily fit in with just about any family, though we prefer not to place
her with young children because of her propensity to pick up small things (toys) on the floor.
Here’s what Faithy’s foster mom has to say:
Faithy is the happiest little girl; even when she came in with severe ear infections she was as sweet as
could be. She is very smart and fun-loving and would make a wonderful therapy dog. She climbs into
everyone’s lap and demands attention. She deserves a family who will spoil her.
