“Oooooooh, Lydia oh Lydia, say have you met Lydia”? Well you will definitely want to. Lydia is an 18 week old French Bulldog who came into rescue at only 5 weeks of age because she had a prolapsed rectum. The prolapse has rectified itself, however, sweet Lydia will always be incontinent and therefore needs to wear diapers. She prefers trendy outfits and will need someone who can afford her shopping habits.
She will need someone who can be with her at home or can take her with them to work to make sure she gets her diapers changed and keep her bum bum clean.
Lydia loves everyone. She is a sweet tiny thing at only 5 lbs. She will be on the smaller size and wouldn’t mind a furry dog sibling or two who likes to play. Maybe even a cat. Because Lydia is so small and still in her puppy stage – small children are not a good idea.
Lydia is full of piss and vinegar. She is full of energy, bossing everyone around one minute and then crashes like an on/off switch was found.
Lydia loves to cuddle. In fact, she considers herself an award winning cuddler. She has never found a human body part she cannot make into a bed. Your head, neck, armpit, legs – all hers for cuddling.
She has been accused of being part chipmunk and she is just a sweet girl ready for her forever home.
Since she is still so young, she will need guidance and training to learn commands - but she is smart as a whip and can learn (well of course, there is that Frenchie stubbornness to deal with). She will be your best friend and has not met any human she doesn’t like. Squirrels…well that’s a different story.
She loves toys and treats. She will never be continent so this is a lifelong commitment from her new home to make sure she is always tended to for her bathroom habits. She could live in the suburbs or city, in a house or apartment, however she can be quite vocal, so a single family home would be best. Having said that, Miss Lydia wouldn’t mind an Armoire to hold a vast collection of clothing – so that should be a priority please. A large one. She can send a pinterest link.
