More About Me

Bo loves everyone and we cannot wait for her to find her perfect forever family that will return her love in
spades.
Bo and her foster family have worked quite hard to trim a few pounds off her and they been very
successful! Granted, she would prefer to be labeled a professional couch snoozer not a professional
athlete, but she knows the benefits to working what she’s got to keep her figure trim(ish…).
While Bo reluctantly accepts workout time, she fully embraces cuddling with her humans. Any time spent
with her humans is time well spent in her book. Need a Netflix binge buddy? Want a buddy to snooze
away the afternoon with? Bo’s your gal. There is nothing she loves more than being with her people.
Except maybe sleep. Yes, she prefers to spend sleepy time with her humans, but if they’re not around,
sleep still wins out.
That being said, she does not believe that Netflix binges or nap times or walks should be shared with
anyone but her people. She does not enjoy the company of other pets due to an incident in her previous
home in which a fight ensued between herself and the other dogs; her owner tried to separate the dogs
(and not in the recommended safest way possible) and was bit. Because of that, a bite waiver must be
signed at adoption but please know that Bo has shown zero aggression in her current foster home
because she is able to truly relax without the presence of other animals.
And her love of people extends to children. Bo and the 10 year-old girl in her foster home are the
definition of BFFs. She can serve as a homework buddy, TV-viewing buddy, playtime buddy, she’s game
for a photoshoot…you name it! She loves to play with toys – chew toys, stuffies, balls (but not all of them.
She has discerning taste). She will certainly let you know when she believes she is lacking in human
attention. A gentle paw on your leg will serve to let you know she is feeling neglected and in need of
attention.
Bo’s attributes don’t end there. This girl is both crate trained and house trained and while she tolerates the
crate, obviously she’d rather be side-by-side with her humans! And besides a joint supplement and daily
probiotic, she is one healthy dog who needs very little maintenance. Now, it goes without saying, though,
that she needs to keep up with her weight loss efforts (she could stand to lose a little more…) so don’t
listen to her when she tells you to go ahead and walk without her!
A quiet home with people who are homebodies would be the best situation for Bo. Bo would also need a
privacy fenced in her yard as she likes to lounge and doesn’t need any peeping neighboring dogs. Her
ideal home would be in the country or suburbs – some place quiet. She’s the yin to a quiet person’s yang.
She needs calm, confident owners who know how to keep her happy.
Here’s what her foster mom says about this love of a dog:
Bo is just the sweetest! She stole her foster family’s hearts the moment we met her. She loves to play
with her toys and adores our 10 -year-old. She’s even helped our 10-year-old during homework time. She
has the cutest little trot when she sees her favorite toy or human friend. She lets you know with a soft paw
to your leg that she’s looking for love and affection, and once done, will curl up with you.
If you think you can give her the love of a wonderful quiet home she so craves, then please fill out the
application below. You won’t regret it!
