Riley and Cooper are a true bonded pair who want a home and family of their own. Their beloved owner recently passed away and her dying wish was to keep these two beautiful boys together.
Their lives and needs are simple. Neither boy is interested in toys or bones, but they do need a few daily wrestling matches with each other. They also love being the kings of their castle, keeping watch out the window for neighborhood activity and resident birds. They love their walks around the block, with their family, as well. A tandem leash helps keep them in line and walking like gentlemen.
However, the true desire of this easy-going, people-focused duo is to snuggle and join with their family in whatever is going on in the household or the car. Their health is good. Cooper does have some minor eye conjunctivitis and needs to have his eyes wiped out with warm water. He may need more eye care in the future. Riley has bi-lateral luxating patellas with no sign that they are bothering him now.
They both are given joint supplements for their joint health. Both boys have a high prey drive, so homes with cats or pocket pets are not a good fit. The ideal for them is a family – single or couple with or without older kids – who will take them to soccer games, outdoor dining, traveling in the car, or just hanging out on the couch. Their previous owner was a woman and their current home is too, so a home with a woman would make them feel like they have indeed come home.
