If you are looking for a snowy day couch companion, or a work-from-home partner, Mack the English Bulldog is eager to meet you. Mack loves to be with his favorite person most of the day. This 6-year-old, well-mannered, quiet English gent is happiest just to be in the mix of humans and doesn't demand to be the center of attention like some fuss pots or noise makers.
Mack came to rescue as an owner surrender and has just one simple request of his forever person....he needs to be the only pet. The reason Mack was surrendered is because he was causing discord with the other household dogs. He wants to be the lone ranger, your sole canine companion, the apple of your eye. If you have or plan to get another dog or cat, Mack is not the one for you. However, if you are looking for your one and only - Mack is just about the perfect companion. This boy is house trained, neutered, non-vocal and low maintenance. He's that sort of chill guy who is happiest on the sofa next to you or on your lap chewing his greenie. He also loves to just hang out in the yard, so a fenced yard is a requirement. Plus, he doesn't encounter other dogs when confined in his own yard, which keeps Mack calm and happy.
Although most bulldogs are not known for their agility, Mack may be the exception. Not to brag, but he has been brushing up on his yoga skills. Use it or lose it is his motto. Still new at this yoga thing, Mack has already mastered the downward facing dog pose and is ready share his exercise routine with his forever person. It's ok if you are not into yoga, but as long as you appreciate his stretching routine, Mack will continue to put a smile on your face. In addition to yoga, Mack knows "sit" and "stay" and is willing to continue learning new commands as long as cardio is not part of the regime. No Jane Fonda workout for this boy. In fact, when the weather warms, he is strongly considering outdoor meditation. He anticipates whiling away time in a sunny outdoor perch pondering over belly rubs, head pats and his next greenie.
Mack's weight is an ideal 55 pounds, and he does not require any medication. He completed a wellness check while in rescue and is up to date on all vaccines. He is non-destructive in the house and does not need to be crated. Mack is neutered and microchipped.
