With a name like Bear you’d think, big, burly, and scary, but here we’re talking sweet, snuggly, and fun! Besides a veritable couch potato, Bear adores play, going for walks, and accompanying you wherever you go.
Get along with other dogs? Bear is being fostered with 5 other dogs and he gets along with every one. He loves to play tug and bitey face with them. He is crate trained, potty trained, and knows how to sit, lay down, and come.
Bear came into rescue because he was lost in the shuffle in a home with 5 children and a father who worked long hours.
Bear is a totally healthy boy , but doesn’t relish having anyone try to take a prize something out of his mouth. To avoid getting bit, the best technique to remove said object is the barter system. Otherwise, this busy boy is an original couch potato, outgoing, friendly, active, and satisfied with a daily walk for exercise.
Handsome Bear will do well in just about any environment and in an adult-only home, definitely with other dogs to play bitey face and tug with. He should never be left alone for more than 3 or 4 hours, so a home with someone around a lot, or someone who take him to work, would be ideal.
Says his foster Mom about her “big” Bear:
Bear is a very loving little guy. He will be your best friend and constant companion.
