Here comes good ol' Charlie Brown...the French Bulldog version, and he is currently available for adoption! Charlie Brown is 6 years old, weighing 21 pounds and is being fostered in Exton, PA.
Unlike his cartoon namesake, this Charlie Brown is not at all pessimistic; in fact, he is described as goofy, happy and lovable by his foster mom. Charlie's favorite activity is to play with his green ball. He will spend hours pushing his ball under furniture then trying to retrieve it. He coexists well with all the dogs in his foster home, and is known to observe, then slowly inch his way toward being the leader of the pack. However, if there is a canine disagreement, Charlie won't back down.
Charlie entered S.N.O.R.T. due to his humans divorcing and being unable to financially care for him. He received his neuter and is up to date on vaccines. He was diagnosed as having a spinal infection (AKA drunken sailor walk) and is on long term antibiotics for 6 months to 1 year. His condition does not seem to bother him, and Charlie just wants to play and snuggle. He would do best in a quiet suburban or rural environment due to his curiosity at outside activity and somewhat vocal nature.
In his earlier life, Charlie found himself for sale on Craig's list...good grief. He will tell you that his number one goal going forward is to stop traveling. He wants his next stop to be his forever home.
A favorite day for Charlie Brown involves following his person around the house and playing with his ball and romping outdoors. He prefers a person who is home all day, or most of the day. He would thrive best in a home with children over 13 or adults only. He is known to lavish his favorite human with kisses and loves to hang out right next to you on the sofa. This people pleaser is also housetrained, and crate trained.
