Balls and bones, balls and bones, and more balls and bones. All you’ll need to keep this little boy happy
is to throw a ball for him a few times a day and make sure he has a soft and cozy place to chew his bone.
Domino is one easy, sweet, and silly boy who loves hanging around his peeps while contently chewing
away on his bone. He lives with several dogs and has play dates with even more, and mostly just enjoys
sitting by and watching all the action. And he likes cats! He was introduced to one by his foster Mom and
he simply sniffed and nuzzled it. When it walked away, he paid it no further mind.
Sadly, Domino came to rescue because his family was transferred overseas. He lived with a young child
with no issues in that family, and he has attached himself affectionately to the 2 teenagers who come
regularly to visit in his foster home. He adores the teenagers,
Like many Bostons Domino is obsessed with his ball. He will play for hours and hours as long as your arm
holds up. However, he suffers from an elongated palate, a common physical issue with Bostons, which
means his activity level must be monitored. If he gets too excited, he will cough and actually get sick,
and then you’ll know it’s definitely time to stop. Just say “All done,” (he knows this command) and he’ll
return to his otherwise laid-back self.
This wonderful fellow will do well in any home, as long as he gets tons of love, and with humans who
will throw the ball for him every day. He gets along with and loves all living things. A caveat, though,
Dominic is not the dog for families that are looking for a pup to hike, bike, or swim with them.
Just about all home situations will work well, including city, suburbs, rural, apartment, townhouse, and
single-family home. A fenced in yard where he can explore and play ball is a necessity.
Here’s what his foster Mom has to say about Domino:
Domino is such a joy. He truly makes every day brighter. At only 5 years old, he has so much life to live
and deserves a family that will love him for the silly boy he is.
