Tallulah is another gem who came to SNORT through a Chinese Rescue Mission whose goal is to save dogs that are destined for the meat trade. This petite lady, she is only 32 pounds, far less than most English Bulldogs, is as sweet as pie and positively devoted to her people. Tallulah’s heaven on earth would be to be with you 24/7, and because of this, she needs a home where people work from home or who are otherwise home most of the time.
This busy bee is friendly, submissive, playful, and active, but also laid back. She love, love, loves playing with rubber balls and other toys that squeak. She has not yet become acquainted with fluffy toys. Her foster Mom takes her on two walks a day which Tallulah really seems to enjoy. She loves the beach, time spent in the backyard, car rides, and going anywhere her humans go.
Crating is not a good option for Tallulah. She is not destructive and there’s been no problem leaving her alone in a room when necessary. But her true mission is to be with you. She is on her best behavior after her walks and likes sleeping in her dog bed. But her favorite thing is to snuggle with you on the couch.
Currently she lives with several other dogs, and though she’s not at all aggressive, she is fed separately because she eats fast and then wants to explore the other, still being eaten, bowls of the other dogs.
Her health is excellent and though it appears she’s had some obedience training in Chinese, she is beginning to respond to hand signals and will eventually learn commands in English. She is 90% potty trained and needs to go out every 4 or 5 hours.
Since Tallulah has had a traumatic life so far, she deserves the very best: a home where her humans treat her as a child and who would see her as their world. This delightfully goofy girl indeed acts like a fun-loving child whose humans are her entire world.
Tallulah now lives in a quiet neighborhood where she goes on nice long walks as well as hangs out in the yard. Even if there is a nice yard in her new home, she still needs her daily walks.
