It’s puppy time! Little 8 month old Blue is a bundle of love and energy who needs a family that can keep up with her funny antics!

Blue brings with her a personality loaded with busyness, mischief, and wanting to be friends with everything and everyone. Because she is so outgoing, her enthusiasm bubbles over and she jumps on whoever is close by. Her foster peeps are working on this, but a home without young children (5 and under) is needed.

Blue is learning to be confident. For example, sometimes when being pet, she will pancake and look up at the “offending” human anxiously. Her foster folks are working so she sees human touch as kind and caring.

Blue is instantly aware of everything going on in her environment. Like, if there’s an ant walking across the floor, a sleeping Blue will instantly awaken and try to chase and eat the ant.

Remember: Blue is a puppy, so housebreaking is a work in progress with great results so far.  Blue came to her foster with some stomach issues that have since been resolved. Because of her high-strung personality, there may be some more issues until she settles into her need family.

Blue currently lives with a canine “brother” she came with, and together they love snuggling, sleeping, and playing! Blue would prefer a home with a canine buddy. She has gone into heat and will be done soon. A spay contract will be expected from the new owner.

An extrovert, Blue loves going on walks and saying hello to everyone she meets along the way. She wants to please and be the center of attention. Because of her high energy personality, Blue can find her way into some puppy trouble that are typical for puppies.

Her perfect home would be individuals who have other dogs and that has experience with short-nosed breeds. City, suburban or rural environments and in an apartment, townhouse or single-family home would all work for Blue.
