Meet Brady, an absolute charmer and extremely well behaved Olde English Bulldogge. Brady had a rough start in life and although it’s not exactly known what truly happened to him, he has scarring on both his face and paws. But don’t let that tough-guy look fool you. It has not stopped this wonderful guy from loving Every. Single. Person. he meets. He is truly the definition of man’s best friend.
Brady is house broken and crate trained (no accidents in the house) and is not destructive. He wouldn’t mind going for walks to sniff the world, but a yard to burn off all that fun-dog-energy would be good as well. He prefers his person be with him; he isn’t really an explorer on his own. He hates the cold or wet weather. He is much happier in a coat (which is adorable of course), but doesn’t like to get his paws wet. Can you blame him?
He is a definite people-pleaser for people of all ages. His playtime is very important and he loves to run, come for a few butt scratches, then run some more. He loves nylabones and chews, and eating his meals out of puzzle toy. But his favorite of all his “toys” is his people. He will chase toys inside and then plop in your lap - preferably with a chew. As long as he gets a little run-time in, Brady does have an off switch and will gladly sit with you on the couch and snooze. He is king of upside down contorted positions that make him snore!
Brady is smart and food motivated and would be happy learning new tricks and commands. His leash manners could use some refreshing. He likes a schedule and knowing what to expect, so an owner who can provide a structured routine is ideal.
Brady takes supplements for joint health and also an eye ointment. He also needs frequent nail clips to work on getting his quicks to recede and keep his feet comfortable.
At night - he would just love his very own snuggle buddy to hang out with on the couch when the day's activities are done. To some, his unique look could be startling, but Brady wins everyone over in minutes by his personality and charm. He has had a few bad breaks in his short life and just wants people to love him as much as he happily loves them.
Brady just wants to please his people. He wants to learn. He has so much potential. At just three years old and 45 lbs, he's got lots of life and cuddling in him. The right home is out there to grab up this happy guy and give him the life he deserves. Are you that forever home?
