More About Me

Spring is my favorite time of year. I say good riddance to winter. Spring is a much better time of year to find my forever family! My name is Bruno and I'm a 14 month old Boston Terrier boy looking for a person or family to call my own. Right now I'm living in Levittown with my foster mama.

Playing with toys is my very best, most favorite thing in the world! I'd really like to have an adult to play toys with me. Any toy will do because I'm not picky. We could sit on the floor, or play fetch outside. Foster mama says I don't have an off button, whatever that means. I also need to work on trusting people, so what better way than an interactive game with my toys! I can be mouthy and I need work and some 'obedience' training. I am willing to give it a try. I need to live with adults and not children. Since I like to play, another similar sized dog who doesn't mind my youngster enthusiasm sounds like a good fit for my forever home too. If you prefer to lavish me with all of your attention, I'm very willing to be an only dog as well. I have not been tested with cats, but perhaps they are not the best fit for me because I'm fairly certain they may scratch an inquisitive boy such as myself.

My second very best, most favorite thing in the world is being under the covers. It's like my own fort under there! I like to cuddle and stay warm and cozy with my best person friend. I am also crate trained, but much prefer to be in the fort instead of in a crate.

I overheard the S.N.O.R.T. people talking and using big words like confidence... patience...obedience. In my own words I can tell you that I get nervous in new situations. If I get really scared, I sometimes dribble. If I'm super scared, I may growl. It's embarrassing to admit, but it happens especially with quick movements which are so very scary to me. For example, I don't like to be picked up. I think that is where this patient word comes in to play. I need to first trust new people and adjust to my surroundings, so I need patient, dedicated owners who can help me sort out all of this scary stuff. I'm no rocket scientist, but I am thinking we can sort if all out over toys...lots of toys; and maybe a fort.

Since I'm only 14 months old, I'm a healthy boy. I'm housetrained (except for the nervous dribble) and do not need a person home all day to tend me. I'd LOVE the company, but I am also fine with a random potty break. I am neutered and up to date on vaccines.

My third very best, most favorite thing in the world is to feel secure. Most of all, I'm looking for someone who can understand me. I'm young and have great potential, but I need some work. Are you equal to the challenge of helping me develop confidence and become the best Boston Terrier boy I can be? If so, submit a S.N.O.R.T. adoption application so we can meet in person, and maybe you can bring a toy!  I'm being fostered in Philadelphia, PA.
