PSSST…you have a secret admirer…or two! This bonded pair of step-brothers were surrendered to a PA shelter when their owner became ill. They have lived together all their lives and would like to be adopted together. Blue (Jug) and Bud (Pug) are being fostered in upstate N.Y.
These senior boys are hoping to find a human to cherish and follow around. They love belly rubs and simply hanging out by your feet while you watch tv. These boys get along so well that they will sleep on the same bed on in the same crate at night. The only thing they do separately is eat, because Blue is known to be a kibble thief, and is not too thrilled about being on a stricter diet these days.
Both boys are housetrained, but will mark new territory and do not mind wearing a belly band for corrective measures. Both boys take over the counter joint supplements for arthritis. They get around extremely well for ages 12 and 14 and even enjoy daily short walks, weather permitting. Blue has limited vision due to chronic dry eye and just completed his regime of eye medications. He is currently using lubricating drops 2-3 times a day to help alleviate the symptoms. He will remain in foster care until a treatment plan is developed for his eye health. Bud came into the rescue with sore wrinkles and needs his wrinkles cleaned daily, but he takes no medications other than daily joint supplements.
Blue and Bud are quickly melting hearts within the SNORT group. They are super affectionate and adore being touched. If you sit on the floor and play with Blu, he affectionately nibbles on your ears and will fetch his favorite toy to your feet. Bud likes to look into your eyes as he rolls over for a belly rub.To help sponsor this dynamic duo, click on one of the above tabs.
