Picture this: A Frenchie who gathers up all the bones scattered about your home and stockpiles them! No resource guarding, just plain let’s get these bones all in one place so we can start to scatter them all over again.
Here’s the bottom line: Ellie is the gem of gems! She loves people, other animals and food!
However, the other line is that this baby was dealt some blows with some physical issues. She has had a ruptured disc in her neck, some allergies, an inverted vulva and a tail pocket.
First: the disc. This sweet, smart, playful baby needs to be in a calm environment and her activity level strictly monitored, as in no jumping, no stairs, no tug of war, no rough play, no dog parks, and only harness leash walks.
Second: the allergies. It’s believed that her allergies are environmental, so she needs to have her feet rinsed and she also needs regular baths.
Last: inverted vulva and tail pocket. For the vulva, she needs to have her private area wiped several times a day and her tail pocket needs to be checked often.
Now for the amazing stuff! Ellie takes all her health things in total stride. She is a happy, well-adjusted little girl. She is TOTALLY housebroken. She has not had a single accident in her foster home. She loves her bones, balls, and an easy game of fetch. A lap? Did someone say human and lap? Ellie loves her people and loves to snuggle on the couch at night.  And like all Frenchies, she enjoys lounging in the sun.
This precious nugget would be a treasure in just about any home, anywhere, with the caveat that she needs a relaxed and calm environment.
Foster Moms always say it best and here’s what Ellie’s has to say (brag) about her.
Ellie is a super sweet girl, that just has a couple of issues that need to be accommodated. She fit in seamlessly in her foster home.
If you are able to provide for her special needs which are really done fairly easily, you will have the most amazing dog ever!!
I can’t say enough about this super special girl.
It’s been a pleasure fostering her.
