Hello, squishy face lovers of the world, did you enjoy intermission? Because it’s time for my Second Act, and I would love to spend it with you! Let me give you a synopsis of Act One of The Life of Miss Gigi the French Bulldog so you can jump into the storyline. But I promise, no spoilers–I want to save all the amazing adventures we’ll have together as fun surprises yet to unfold!

I’m 4.5 years young, and I’ve just begun to enjoy my retirement from working for a breeder. It was hard work! I didn’t get to have much fun or attention there, and I would get bored sometimes with no one to show off for—I love getting to learn new things and to make my humans happy!—so I got a bit of a reputation as a mischief maker for chewing up my toys and beds and even mulch if I was in the yard unsupervised. I also didn’t have much of a schedule there, so I would have accidents sometimes. But my foster mama says that with consistency, I am 90% potty trained and eager to do better and better every day, I just need help staying on my schedule!

So, now that all my kids are out of the house, and I’ve moved in with this amazing foster mama who tells me all the time that I’m a very smart and very good girl, I’ve started to believe it and to see how much is out there in the world for me to learn and to play with appropriately! Have you guys ever had a benebone?! Well, let me tell you, you’ve GOT TO try them! They are the most gratifying, wonderful things to chew on, and I’ll do just about anything for one! Speaking of chewing, I have a little trouble with eating some kinds of food just because of my adorable little  Frenchie mouth, but we’ve figured out what works, and  I’m a very healthy girl overall and ready to start living my best life!

I am learning so much every day and making friends with new humans and dogs all the time. I even like the little humans, though I should probably only live with kids older than me, so I can be the baby for once! I would love to find a place to live where at least one of my humans is around a lot of the time or could bring me to work with them. I don’t much like being alone… I love people so much and when they’re not around I feel like I have to entertain myself, and I don’t always make the best choices when I do that.
