Hank

Hank

Hank is currently accepting applications to be his personal servant!

What we think Hanks means is that he’s looking for his forever home, but he definitely
needs (and deserves!) an attentive family!
At just two years old, Hank has tons of life ahead of him and he fully plans to enjoy it
after a less-than-stellar start to his life. Hank was born with a cleft palate and after being
initially adopted, he was relinquished and had suffered an injury to his back.
Not to worry, he is definitely ambulatory and it has not stopped him from enjoying life in
the least, but it does mean he needs a little extra attention (but who wouldn’t want to
give that cute face extra attention anyway?!). Hank needs a family who is willing to carry
him up and down any steps and ensure that he goes outside relatively frequently as his
as he cannot hold his urine for long stretches of time.

There’s a chance that he might have mobility issues in the future, but for right now -and according to vet, he just
needs a little bit of extra help with those pesky stairs! He was neutered and ready to be your best friend.
Hank is, above all else, a snuggler. He believes his role in life should be that of a lap
dog, and we can’t disagree! He also adores children and so long as they are old enough
to understand he cannot roughhouse, he would absolutely thrive in a home with
children. He also gets along well with cats and dogs, as long as any other dogs are on
the calm side.
His cleft palate is largely a non-issue as long as he stays on a diet of hard food to help
avoid instances of vomiting.
Hank has made it clear he does not like his feet or ears being touched and baths are
absolutely not his favorite thing, but has never lashed out at anyone. He’s just making it
clear what he likes and what he doesn’t like!
Despite his rough start to life, Hank is one happy guy and is going to absolutely
continue to thrive once he finds the perfect forever home. Sure, he might need a little
more time and attention, but the love he gives in return makes it all worth it, 10 times
over! So get those applications in!
