More About Me

We are brothers from another mother and we are bonded and do almost everything together....so we are looking for a person who wants to add 2 dashingly handsome, funny and playful boys into their family. Right now we live with our foster mom near Boston. We had a happy life until our prior owner fell ill and passed.  We walked through some sad times, and now we are ready to move forward and find another loving human parent, and of course, stay together as brothers.

I am Hercules, the older & stronger brother. Even at age 9 you can see that I've maintained my French Bulldog muscle. I'm pretty sure I could place first in the senior division bench press or free weight competition for Frenchies. You've probably already admired my upper body physique without me mentioning it. I'm also told I possess a high level of self importance, which I'm certain is a positive trait. My attributes are endless.

My younger Boston Terrier bother here is Cosmo. He's only 8.  We are both very active for our age. We like to do everything together including getting baths, playing tug, running with stuffed toys, sleeping in bed together and chilling on the couch watching tv. We especially enjoy reruns of Gilligan's Island with me starring as Skipper and my "little buddy" as Gilligan. We bear a striking resemblance to those actors, don't you agree? With me as the Skipper, I don't think we would have been shipwrecked on a deserted island though.

Going forward, what we want most from our next human parent is attention and a soft hand. You see, we desperately long to feel secure and treated like valued members of the family again. I'm not asking to voice my opinion on where we take summer vacation, just that you consider taking us along, or have a safe place for us to hang out when you are away. We get along with other dogs, but as Gilligan's....ah....I mean Cosmo's protector, I take a little while to warm up to a newcomer, especially if he has bigger muscles than I do. If you have another dog, I'd prefer someone same sized as we are which is 25 pounds (I have a large chest) and 20 pounds (Cosmo has a skinny chest), and slow introductions are best. We would also like our forever person to have prior experience with dogs like us, you know, flat snouters.

We are healthy boys and do not take any maintenance medications. We keep ourselves trim with play time and moderate exercise. We do not require a fenced yard, but that would certainly be a bonus if you have one. Romping and playing safely outdoors sounds like fun.

We have not been exposed to cats or children, so we are unsure how we feel about them. Overall, a routine oriented home is best for us. Since we are not puppies, we don't require all the fuss of youngsters. A mid-day potty break is fine on the days that you are doing your work thing while we do our nap thing.

We also ask for patience in our forever person. I'm man enough to admit that I sometimes, (very rarely) have an accident in the house. Cosmo is fully house trained, but for me it's been a little more of a challenge. I do know the word "no" and I will always sit nicely for a treat. Foster mom hasn't used a crate on us, but we are crate trained if it's ever necessary.

So, as you can see, I have many positive attributes and so does Cosmo. We are confident that we can melt hearts with our looks and personality. Are you ready to curl up on the couch and watch Gilligan's Island with us?  If so, submit a S.N.O.R.T. adoption application.
