Are you looking for a bouncing buddy with tons of puppy energy? A partner who delights in setting your life on fire? Then, Lil Bow Wow is your “man”!! This baby will keep you on your proverbial toes, but with tons of fun along the way.
Bow Wow was surrendered into rescue because his previous owners could not afford to have him treated for bladder stones which have since been treated and resolved. He was not neutered when he came to SNORT, which may have caused the stones. He has since been neutered, but he will need a recheck in 3 to 4 months to make sure the stones have not reoccurred. He is currently on a cranberry supplement to help prevent any stones from reoccurring.
A home without young children is Bow Wow’s best bet. He loves to jump on all living creatures and can also be a bit “mouthy.” His delightful exuberance translates into high-energy activity, including a preference for absconding with anything he can find. Hint: shoes, socks and slippers. The good news, he takes great pleasure in displaying his “wares,” but does not chew on them. But do give Bow Wow plenty of chew toys as he is otherwise a champion chomper.
As are most pups, our friendly, outdoing Bow Wow relishes getting into mischief. He can go-go-go with seeming unending energy until he crashes, preferably in a lap or next to a human.
Bow Wow needs an active person or family to help him become a well-mannered dog. He would also benefit from a fellow canine to show him the ropes and correct him when necessary. A rural or suburban setting, in a townhouse, single-family house, and a fenced-in yard is required. An apartment isn’t ideal because of his predilection for being vocal at times.

He is a sweet boy with a big heart. He loves to play. He can entertain himself at times, but would rather have you playing with him or one of the other dogs. Once everyone is relaxing, watching TV before bed, he will lay on you and fall asleep.
