Please meet Lucky. A handsome 6 year old French Bulldog who is as sweet as pie. He came to SNORT due to no fault of his own. Divorce and having allergies. He also spent too much time in a crate and that was not a life for Mr. Lucky. Lucky is described as a couch potato, who is easy to train and laid back. He is also smart. He knows sit, stay, down and come. His favorite hobbies include binge watching a good show close to a human, going for strolls or just relaxing in a sun spot.
Because Lucky has allergies, he needs to remain on a specialty food and will need to have regular care to maintain the good strides he has made while in rescue. He would like to have someone who is home all day but would be ok for a couple of hours on his own. In fact, he wouldn’t mind going to work with you, if your environment is conducive to this. He loves people. He would make a fabulous greeter. He wouldn’t mind a furry sibling or two. In his current foster home,  there are 3 furry siblings and he is sweet as can be. His foster home describes him as having a tender heart. He would best thrive in a home that has central air in the summer and a fenced in yard with some area that does not have grass to keep his environmental allergies at bay. He enjoys being pampered and loves spa time. He could live with dogs, cats and humans. He has not been around children but having such a tender heart would probably be fine with dog experienced kids. He is a spry thing at only 17 lbs and just wants to be on your lap. He is the perfect companion.
So in summary, Lucky would like to have a forever home that includes people and pets and a fenced in yard. He would be preferable to having a human 24/7 as that is is ideal companion. Someone to be his ride or die partner.  He will need to remain on a specialty food and get regular baths and care and during allergy season, some extra care.
