Madam Mary Margaret is a petite 19 lb Boston Terrier of 10 years young. After making the long trek from a disbanded rescue in Alabama all the way to her foster home in Maine, Mary Margaret made herself right at home with her foster siblings and people.
An active 10-year-old, who her foster people described as more of a 5-year-old at heart, Miss Mary Margaret loves to play with toys, chew on bones and play fetch. She is a healthy gal who does not take any medications other than supplements.
Mary Margaret can be a bit of a boss at times and has let the other dogs in her foster home know when she does not want to be bothered. Due to her occasional crankiness, a home without small children, other dogs or cats is recommended.
Mary Margaret’s foster Mom describes her as smart, silly and active. She will play with toys independently then settle down for a nap and some snuggles with her humans. At playtime, she does best in a fenced-in yard as being on a leash causes her to become reactive toward other dogs.
Mary Margaret is a vocal gal and will let you know when she wants attention. Not lacking in confidence, Mary Margaret will hold her own in a pack of dogs and will stand up for what she thinks is hers.
Her fun, energetic, silly self would be a great companion for a single person or couple with a fenced-in yard in a suburban or rural area. If you are looking for a spunky little gal who can play hard and snuggle just as hard, then submit a SNORT adoption application for Mary Margaret today!
