Loving, Cuddly, Happy – those were the 3 words used to describe this sweet 7 year old, 31 LB, lady of a French Bulldog.
Mocha came into rescue through no fault of her own – divorce. The surrendering owner stated Mocha was having accidents in the house, however, since being in rescue – Mocha has not had any accidents and is a well-mannered girl. She just has feelings. Don’t we all.
Mocha is an amazing companion. Mocha loves stuffed toys and balls. She doesn’t seem to understand the concept of fetch. She will show you the ball, but will not give it to you. Go get your own. She’s a super cuddler, at times it seems she cannot get close enough to foster mom or dad while on their lap. She enjoys being on the sofa to snuggle or suckle on a toy. She doesn’t destroy toys she just suckles on them.
Mocha likes dogs around her size and isn’t too keen on bigger dogs so a furry companion or two is fine but she wouldn’t mind being your one and only as well.
She seems to enjoy her crate, she will sleep there all night with the door open, she also happily goes into the crate when no one is home. She knows her name, and comes when called. She understands “sit”. She is a lady after all.
Mocha is currently on an eye drop for an ulcer, before coming into rescue and she will be on this till gone per the ophthalmologist.
Mocha would do best with quiet homebodies. She likes to be with her people as much as possible. She also doesn’t like loud noises (when someone raises their voice, but doesn't seem bothered by neighbors with fireworks on NYE) Her ideal home would be with someone who works from home or a family with opposite work hours, or retirees. She would not do well with long periods of time being home alone. She would be most comfortable in a quiet neighborhood, with room to run & play.
She’s a sweetie, who wants nothing more than to be loved in return. She loves anyone she meets and wants to be their new best friend. Are you her's? If so, please fill out an application today.
