I'm trying this new dating app called Petfinder.com. I'm told it's the dog equivalent to e-harmony or match.com. If I were interested in a casual relationship, Tinder may be to my liking, but as a serious minded gal, ready for a forever commitment, Petfinder sounded like my best option to put myself out there in hopes of finding a permanent, solid relationship.
Right now I'm in a transitional phase and live with my half brother and his humans and some other canines near Portland, Maine. Before that I lived with my family who truly loved me, but unfortunately the female boxer in the house and I did not see eye to eye. Since I'm just 18 pounds, it was in my best interest to move on. My prior mom and my foster mom both want the very best for me and tell me I am a true gem, so I am optimistic of finding a forever relationship.
My ideal match on this dating site would be someone who enjoys sports since I describe myself as athletic. In my free time, I enjoy agility training, learning new commands and chasing my brother in the fenced yard. I must admit, a fenced yard is high on my priority list. I'm just 2 years old so an active person or family is best for me. I'm also a quick learner. I have already mastered the following skills: sit, down, stay, go to crate, wait, back and even spin. I can pirouette almost as good as a ballerina.
Positive reinforcement training is the way to win my heart. I thrive on showing off my academic and athletic skills and I always appreciate a good audience. Mostly what I want in a forever relationship is to feel valued, appreciated and loved, and I know the right person is out there ready to include me in their active world.
I want you to know that my other attributes include being crate trained, house trained and in excellent health. I prefer an adult only home, or with teenage or older children. Overstimulation is not good for my mental health, and a routine oriented household would be much more to my liking. Rural or suburban life sounds better to me than a noisy city. If you have another male dog, I prefer to be introduced slowly since I can be a bit shy of dogs and some humans in the beginning. Once you earn my trust, I will be your faithful companion.
If you are serious about a permanent relationship with me submit a S.N.O.R.T. adoption application today.
