Just look at this handsome monkey! Yes, my name is Monkey. I’m new here at SNORT and very confused over all the recent changes in my life. I’m 7 and was surrendered to a PA shelter and ended up here at SNORT. It’s more like being in boot camp. Can you believe these people enrolled me in summer classes…yuk. I have to study gross things like ‘obedience’ and ‘manners’ and the people expect all sorts of hard work for me. Pugs are not known for their ability to focus, so this is really difficult and scary. Foster lady says she’s gonna help me learn to trust and gain confidence though, so I guess that sounds ok. And fortunately nap time/quiet time is in the curriculum!
As if these classes aren’t enough work, I also had to see the Vet and now I take medicine in my ears and they made me wear the cone of shame after my neuter. Between us, the ear medicine is making me feel much more comfortable, but don’t tell the teacher I said that. Other than clearing up my sore ears, I’m in great health.
I won’t be ready for adoption until I pass all of my summer school classes, but I am looking for donors to help with my education fund. If you are able to sponsor me, just click on the above tab. Thanks for reading about me and wish me luck on my report card.
