Paci & Choo Choo

Paci & Choo Choo

If you’re looking for two sweet ladies who will enrich your life in so many ways, look no further than this pug pair, Choo Choo and Paci.  Despite going through the trauma of their beloved owner passing away and coming to live in a new, strange environment, these two adjusted easily and quickly to their new abode. Now, despite living together for many years, they are as different as night and day.

Choo Choo is much more active than Paci. She loves to chase toys and perform zoomies around the house. When she wants to play, she’ll bark to let you know. She is not a fan of a crate or traveling and barks with anxiety.

Paci is the laid-back member of this team. The phrase “couch potato” was truly made for her. She has no issues with crates, traveling or anything else, for that matter. While Choo Choo is doing her zoomies, Paci would rather be curled up next to you on the couch. She is overall healthy, but she does have an eye issue which requires daily eye drops. Her vision is also somewhat limited.

Paci and Choo Choo would do well in a single family home, preferably a ranch in a suburban or rural environment. Paci can go up stairs, but not down, so her new family needs to be able to carry her if their home has stairs.  They would also do well with a single person, older couple, young couple, or family with older kids. They also get along with cats and other dogs. The ideal would be that the adopters have experience with short-nosed dogs.

Given a daily routine, they will thrive. They are house trained, but you’ll need to keep an eye on when they head for the door.  Their sweet and friendly temperaments will bring you much joy and delight. As their foster Mom says: “These two have curled up with the resident dogs/cats. Choo Choo shows her playful side doing zoomies and barking when she wants to play. Paci is usually sitting beside me, very people oriented. They have not shown any jealousy with each other or resident dogs.” Sweet girls all around.
