Princess Buttercup is a sweet, happy senior Bully who just wants to be loved and give love in return. This 40 lb “grandma” loves attention and belly scratches and will jab your calf with her snaggle-tooth if you forget to pet her.
Princess Buttercup was surrendered by her family when they were unable to financially provide for her care. She has significant dry eye which has caused her to be mostly blind. She will need to continue to have prescription eye drops administered three times a day to keep her from experiencing eye dryness and discomfort.
Affectionate and cuddly, Princess Buttercup has the most wonderful heart. She currently lives with a toddler and adores him. She happily gives her toddler kisses and loves to get hugs from him. She also loves other dogs, but does tend to gravitate toward the slower and older dogs. She loves to cuddle with her canine companions and, being mostly blind, will follow their lead in helping her learn the lay of the land.
Princess Buttercup doesn’t ask for much – a small patch of grass to potty on, short walks (her feet get sore quickly), a single story home (stairs are tough due to her vision loss), and lots of treats and kisses.
