More About Me

If you are looking for the sweetest little nugget in town, you have found her right here with Rosie! This adorable 75% Pug and 25% Jack Russell 6 pounder is as smart as a whip and loves all living creatures – human, canines, and probably whatever other creature she encounters. If you become her human, you’ll experience pure and complete bliss when little Rosie climbs into your lap for a nap.

Rosie’s beginning story is a bit on the sad side. She was the runt of the litter, and her mother just stopped taking care of her. Her litter mates stepped all over her and at 2 pounds, this became dangerous, so she was put into a cage all by herself. A woman who bought a pug saw lonely little Rosie in her cage all alone, and decided to buy her to turn over to rescue where she would be properly cared for and loved, which is exactly what has happened.

Despite her diminutive size, Rosie is healthy and needs no special care, other than laps, toys and love. She loves squeaky toys and chew bones. Right now she is in the puppy biting phase. Also like a puppy, she is active and can get her little naughty nose into trouble.

Give her a fenced in yard and she will be in heaven. Rosie loves to be outside and having a yard where she can be safe when running around would allow her to expend some of the puppy energy. She is almost totally housebroken, but accidents are to be expected, especially in a new home.

This precious little girl will do well in just about any home and environment, except apartments may not be ideal since she is finding her voice. Another dog in the home is highly desirable so she has someone to teach her, and she has someone to cuddle with.

Says her foster Mom:

She didn’t have the best start to her life, but despite that she loves everyone she meets. She is very smart and easy to train.
