Stan the Man, Stan the Man, does whatever a Frenchie can! Named after Mr. Stan Lee, the creator of the Marvel Universe, Stan is one clever canine! He can sit, lay down, give paw, high five and spin! This 22lb, 1 year old French Bulldog is 100% housebroken, walks great on a leash, and happily sleeps in his kennel at night.
Stan's ideal home would be one where he is the sole superhero, but he might consider a home with a smaller female sidekick to be the Mary Jane to his Spiderman. He loves to play chase and wrestle with his current female companion, but does not get along with bigger dogs or other male dogs.
Every superhero has their weakness and Stan is no exception. Chaos, commotion and confusion are his downfall. This handsome hunk thrives on routine and needs a quiet house in the suburbs where he knows what to expect day in and day out. He would not do well in an apartment or condo situation. Children are too unpredictable and scary for Stan, so he is seeking an adults-only home. DOG PARKS are also a big NO for this sensitive fellow, so a fenced yard would be great, but he's just as happy to practice his superhero antics indoors.
Stan is not comfortable being handled by people he doesn't know and will use the power of his supersonic bark to keep strangers away, so going to the office with you every day would not be his cup of tea. He also may nip at your calves if he gets overly excited. It takes a while to earn Stan's trust, but he is SO worth the effort.
