Two handsome brothers seek one perfect forever home!
Teddy and Jax found their way to SNORT through no fault of their own; an illness in their previous home meant they had to find temporary housing with SNORT until they can find their new forever home.
Teddy is a two-and-a-half year-old Frenchton (French bulldog + Boston Terrier) and Jax is an 11-month-old Boston Terrier who adore each other and must be adopted together!
Both boys are sweet, playful and cuddly. They are very active guys who love to play – fetch being among their top choices! They could wrestle and play with each other all day, so while a fenced-in yard isn’t required, it would definitely be a bonus!
They are healthy little guys with no chronic health issues. Both are housetrained and use crates as areas to decompress when needed.
While Teddy might want you to think he’s a tough guy, he is absolutely terrified when first meeting other dogs, so slow introductions are an absolute must. His foster home currently has a pug and an English bulldog, and he warmed up to both after being given the proper time to decompress and slowly meet the other dogs.
Teddy also startles easily and this had caused him to bite humans a few times (one broke skin but none have required medical attention). For this reason, a bite waiver will be required upon his adoption. He has not bitten in his foster home, but his forever home must continue with slow introductions when new people are introduced to his environment. He just does not respond well in strange and stressful situations, so patience is needed!
Neither dog needs someone home all day; they do have each other for company, after all! They have previously lived in an apartment and currently live in a home with a fenced-in yard, so clearly any environment would be a-okay with them. Both dogs have been around children – including one as young as 14 months – and have been great but a home with dog-savvy children would be necessary.
This pair has been through quite a lot of change lately and they rely on each for both comfort and play, so SNORT is committed to finding them a home together! Teddy and Jax are currently being fostered near Scranton, Pa.
