You could not ask for a more perfect pug than Venus!
There are very few things Venus doesn’t like. Good with kids? Check? Good with other dogs? Check! Healthy? Check!
Venus is a very calm, sweet eight year old girl who loves to sleep, get belly rubs and sleep. She has no health concerns and would do well in almost any environment – apartment, home, suburb, city, etc.
She gets along very well with the small child who is frequently in her foster home and is also great with other dogs. Venus is untested with cats but due to her laid back nature, she’d likely do well with them.
Her foster mom is working very hard on house training and Venus does not need to be crated. She also does not need someone home all day (but most definitely would not complain if someone was!), but she would make a great co-worker! A mid-day check-in would be ideal if someone is unable to be home all day.
Okay, so we might have found one flaw – she may snore just a little bit. But that’s par for the course, right? And it makes her all the more endearing if you ask us!
There really isn’t much that rattles this girl and she is going to make a great addition to one lucky family. She’s an expert cuddler and is looking forward to unlimited cuddles in her forever home. Venus is being fostered in East Lyme, CT.
