Weelo

Weelo

Let me tell you, I am LOVING life now that I’ve gotten the care I need and I know the right family is going to LOVE having me in their life!

My name is Weelo and I consider myself one happy, little dude. And also incredibly handsome, obviously.

There isn’t much that gets me down. I love playtime (give me a good game of tug-of-war any day!), I love nap time, I love walk time. I love sunbathing. I love lots of stuff! I’m great with kids, if I do say so myself, I play very well with my doggie pals, and I even like cats. I don’t know if they like me so much, though, because I’ve been told I’m a little overly enthusiastic for them and for some reason they don’t seem to want to play with me? I keep telling them I’m a super nice guy.

I really like everyone I meet, but I really like my foster mom and the other females in the house. I get a little nervous around men; I’m not really sure why. I’m not mean – that’s a word that could never be used to describe me! Men just make me nervous so if there are men in my new home, I’ll just need some time and patience to get comfortable.

I do need a fenced-in yard; I’m a young puggle with lots of energy so for those days you can’t take me for a walk, I need to space to run free and stretch my legs, so a fenced-in yard is a must. But boy, I do love me a walk! I love to stop and smell the flowers – literally. They just smell so good!

My little legs can do stairs with no problem, so I’m not picky about my new home. I also do great in my crate (ha, I’m a poet and I didn’t even know it!) and if my family can’t be home with me during the day, I’d do great with a mid-day check-in or a dog-sitter/walker.

One thing that’s special about me is that I have epilepsy. It sounds scary, but it’s really not! I’m on a medication I take twice a day and I am a champ when it’s time to take my medicine.

Oh, and I have to brag. I’ve been told I have the softest, most velvety fur ever. Combined with my good looks, let’s just say I don’t suffer from lack of attention!

I am so excited to find my forever family – I just know I’m going to make them so happy!
