Looking for the cutest sidekick there ever was? Look no further than Lainey, an adorably active
Frenchie!
Lainey wants (ok, it might be more than “wants”) to be involved in everything going on around
her. Snack time? Workout time? Bedtime? Lainey wants in on the action, no matter what!
At two years old, Lainey has the energy to do just about anything you might want. She adores
walks, loves car rides, and loves snuggling. She’s also FAST! Her speedy little legs get her up and
down stairs faster than you can blink and can get her out the door quickly, so a fenced-in yard is
a must!
Lainey isn’t on the go at all times, though. She knows when it’s time for a good snuggle session
or when it’s time to curl up in her human’s bed and take a snooze.
Another one of Lainey’s favorite things? Toys, specifically squeaky balls! She loves chewing
them and playing fetch with them. She will destroy stuffies quickly, so non-stuffed toys are best
suited for her. She also lives for treats and peanut butter and will do almost anything for a
special treat.
While Lainey isn’t the best housemate when it comes to cats (she’s not mean, she’s just very
curious and very energetic!), she loves other dogs and would love a doggie sibling and playmate
in her forever home. She’d also do well in a home with older children; food isn’t exactly safe
around her, so younger kids (who might have a propensity for dropping or holding out food…)
may not be the best fit!
Lainey is quickly learning how to walk politely on her leash and loves a good walk. She’s also
smart as a whip, having already learned “sit,” “down,” and “kiss!” Lainey has no medical
concerns, either!
Because she’s so active, she might not be the best dog to take to work (although she’d beg to
differ!), but she does fine with a midday check-in or – even better! – someone who is home
with her all day. She’s currently living in the suburbs but would probably do well in a city as long
as she had a small, fenced-in area in which to do her business.
