Welcome to S.N.O.R.T. Rescue

SNORT is an all-volunteer registered 501(c)3 non-profit rescue based in the Northeast.  Its purpose is to rescue brachycephalic dogs (mostly French Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, Pugs, and English Bulldogs) from shelters and owners who can no longer keep them, and place them into loving homes.  We believe all dogs should be given a chance and fair evaluation.  Man's best friend sometimes does not communicate in ways which we would like, and we pride ourselves for taking the time to understand their needs.  Through education, training and matching dogs to the right homes, we hope to reduce the number of brachycephalic dogs that are euthanized unnecessarily.

SNORT wishes to express our condolences to the family of William R. Gowdy, Jr. of Walnutport, PA.  Mr. Gowdy passed away suddenly on November 21.  He and his wife recently adopted Bosch, a young Pug, from SNORT and upon his passing requested that donations to SNORT be made in his honor. We wish to thank all who've donated in his memory and offer our deepest sympathy for your loss.

• Male English Bulldog • 8 years old

Looking for the fountain of youth? Well S.N.O.R.T's Isaac has found it and he'd love to share it with his new forever family!

No one would ever guess that this handsome English bulldog is eight because he has the energy, stamina and health of a two-year-old. Despite his large frame, he's just a healthy 64 pounds - thanks in large part to his LOVE (which is putting it mildly!) of walks and playtime.
